ReplyDeleteI learned that sometimes, the Sun can be kind of an artist. During sun flares, the plasma can loop around, shoot up in geysers, explode like a bomb, etc. It's very cool to see the designs the sun flares create.

The diameter of the sun is 109 times the diameter of the Earth. Also, the sun accounts for 99.89% of the mass in our solar system.
ReplyDeleteI was fascinated with the Characteristics of the Sun website and the Amazing Photos of the Sun website. The pictures were just AMAZING!! I looked at them for a long time! An interesting fact I found about the Sun was about its density. The sun is made of hydrogen and helium, which are both very light elements. Even with the light elements, the Sun is denser than water, which means it would sink in water! The gravity is just that strong. Crazy.
