No I wouldn't want to be the next person to go down there, Yes it would be cool but there are so many things that could have gone wrong. With people miles above you it would be hard to communicate and talk exactlly what you want them to.
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to be one of the people who explored the deeps due to the fact that I would be one of the people that would be discovering new animals and organisms.
ReplyDeleteThe head shrinking was pretty legit! Only if it would have been clear glass so you could watch it happen. Yes its the equivilent of being the first man on the moon the ocean has that awe affect! Just less media
ReplyDeleteI think it's interesting how small some of the creatures are that live deep in the ocean. I wouldn't want to be a person that goes down to the Marina Trench because I'd be afriad that somehow there would be a hole in the ship thingy and then we'd all drown and die. So yeah :P
ReplyDeleteI thought the styrofoam head example thing was totally crazy! It was cool to how much pressure is down there though. I wouldn't want to go down their though... what if the submarine totally exploded and I drowned? That would not be good. Or what if my head got squished? Ahhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't like to go down into the trench. Anything could happen with the sub you are going down in then you would get smushed into smitherines. Leave that to the dare devils please.
ReplyDeleteI thought that the pressure videos were incredible. When the styrofoam head was given the amount of pressure that would be given at 11,000 m, the head shrunk.The head was the size of a baby! I wouldn't want to be the next to go down. Although it would be incredible, I'd be too nervous about what could happen.

I thought it was interesting to look at the different designs of vessels that would get people to the bottom of the ocean. I would not like to go that deep. I would get stir crazy!
ReplyDeleteThe shrinking head in the pressure was cool. I would want to go down to have bragging rights and to see the light fish on Nemo.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to go down that deep. I think I would end up freaking out and want to get out of that tank thingy. I would Not Go Down no matter what!
ReplyDeleteI found the world's depest fish very interesting...In a really weird way. It looked very disgusting. I would not want to be the next person to go down to the trenches. Mainly because I would be really scared that I would die, and explode.
